Thanksgiving at Jeffrey's

We had plenty to eat and drink at Jeff's house on Thanksgiving. Everyone was there except Chad who went to his other Grandma's. We missed you, Chad. Later that week Laura and Joey
Henier had a little girl that they named, Payton. If anyone in the family would like to contribute their Thanksgiving pictures, I will put them on my blog.

Judy

Judy and I when we were little girls.

Judy and I on Francis St. right after we moved in. We are on the bench built over the catalpa stump with Haines house in background. The color pic is of Michelle, Judy, Mother, Cheryl, and Nicole taken at Mother's.

Kulowskis

Jacob no middle name Kulowski was in the Navy. He had 4 children: Arthur, Gerald, Cynthia, and Michael. Jerry died when I was a freshman at Park College. I loved his sister, Aunt Bess. Quite a character she was. She taught Jeff one of his first words: delicious. I admired a little jade elephant charm she had on her charm bracelet and she sent it to me. She also sent me the orange picture of a French clownish woman painted by Etienne in Paris. She was married to Felix Thoeren who played bridge with Omar Shariff. The black and white pictures of Mother and Daddy were taken when they got married. The color pic was taken at my house on Avalon. Daddy had another brother Harry who was married to Faye. I visited them in Lancaster, NY when I went back to NY after my freshman year at Park. I wanted to visit Dave who was in Lockport but I stayed with Uncle Harry and Aunt Faye. She gave me a pearl bracelet that I still have. He had another sister, Libby. She married George Cohen and they lived in Buffalo, NY.

The Kirks

These are pictures of the Kirk family. Granddad Kirk with his relatives, Dale Kirk, Granddad and Grandma Kirk, Granddad with his mother and Dale and me, Grandma with her father and Dale and me. The picture of all the men: Louis Kirk, Leroy Snodgrass, Sam Castle, Ray Hill, Jim Hill, Raymond Hill, and Lawrence Kirk.

Snodgrasses

The tartan belongs to the Snodgrasses from Glasgow, Scotland, or thereabouts. Grandpa Snodgrass is in front of his house and the other picture is of Grandpa, Mother, and Nana.

The Elllisons

These are the Ellisons: Nana, Aunt Hal, Grandma Ellison, Uncle Ernest, Grandpa Ellison, and Uncle Art. I may have Uncle Ern and Uncle Art reversed, I'm not sure which is which. The other picture is of Nana, Aunt Hal, Uncle Art, and Uncle Ern. Uncle Ern, Aunt Hal, Grandma Ellison, and Nana are standing in the back yard of the Ellison house. I think they bought that house when they came from Bowling Green for about $75. The house was sold when Aunt Hal died and has since been torn down. Nana took care of the yard and Aunt Hal took care of the house work, so they got along fine in their old age.
