Sarah Verna Snodgrass

Mother is holding me with Nana and Grandma Ellison.
This is a picture of my grandmother. I called her Nana. The one is of Mother, me, Jeffrey, and Nana. The old picture is of Nana when she was a young lady. The one on the bottom is at Mother's long after Grandpa Snodgrass died. I always thought I resembled Nana more than anyone else in our family. Not necessarily by looks, but by temperment. Judy looked and acted more like Mother. They were both outgoing.

Arthur

Here we have a picture of Arthur, Daddy's son, and my brother, kind of. We are related by marriage. The second picture is of Arthur and Pam, his wife. It was taken in San Francisco at the hotel where we were staying. We had a nice visit with them. I have fond memories of Arthur from way back and wish we lived closer so we could see more of each other. Pam is a cutie too, and works for the San Francisco Opera. If I could get myself out to the west coast, I could go to the opera with them. I need some new pictures of you two, too. At least two, would do!

Cousins

On the left is Jean and her daughter Kathy Reno.
By the Christmas tree left to right: Heather, Cheryl, Judy, and Larry. We were all Kirks when this photo was taken. Next is Jean Kay, Cheryl, and Susie at Jean's house in Savannah, MO. At Mother's 90th Birthday is Mother, a friend, and Jean Kay. I would like some new photos to add to these old ones.

These are the new school photos of my granddaughters. Alia, Alexis, Whitney.

My cousin down the road, Kathy Jill

Kathy's Mom and Step Dad on right. Her Step Dad's daughter and husband and grandson on left. They live in Poplar Bluffs, MO. and own Ballew's Southern Custom Bikes. Above is a new picture of Kathy Jill. It was taken at her Step Dad's 80th birthday party. There is going to be a big family reunion in Bowling Green this coming July 19th. That is Jeff's birthday. Wouldn't it be fun if we could attend the reunion?

Rowdy Cat

This is my old buddy Rowdy. I call him Row, rhymes with ow or now. He has been around about 17 years. We are comfy with each other, even though he does have some extremely bad habits.

Nicole's barbeque at her new home this summer

This was the first get together at Nicole's new home. She had a barbecue to show it off. These are pictures of Nicole and girls, and and Jeff and Lorri, his wife, and Pat, Nicole, and Jeff.

Nieces and Nephews

Brett and Lorri's children, Quinlan and Kati with Mickey Mouse. Jason and Michelle with Brooks. Scott and Lindsay and Mason. Christmas greetings from 2006. Hopefully, I will have new pictures this year.

Brett and Lori live in Liberty. Scott and Lindsay live in Brookside and so do Michelle and Jason who moved back there from Chicago.

Kathy Jill

Kathy Jill is a distant cousin that lives in Bowling Green, KY. She has been in touch with Jeff, Mother, and me. We would love to be able to go to Bowling Green and take a tour of the cemeteries with her and talk about our ancestors.

Sessions of Sweet Silent Thought

Barb, Alina, Janet, Barbara, Cyndy, Heather, Arthur, Jean, Brett, Scott, Michelle, and Kathy. I really would appreciate pictures from all of you.
When to the sessions of sweet silent thought I summon up remembrance of things past.....
-But if the while I think on thee, dear friend, All losses are restored, and sorrows end.
William Shakepeare

1960 and 1971

This is how it started: Dave and I with baby Jeffrey. Jeff was a tiny little guy and Dave and I were certainly thinner.

This is a family picture of all of us. I think it is about the only picture of all of us. Check out my hairdo! And check out those vintage glasses!

Brothers and Sister

Brian, Barb, Dave, Bob, and Don at Barb's house in Grand Island, NY.

These pictures are Dave's brothers and sister. Bob and Janette, Brian, and Barb and George all live in New York state close to Buffalo. These pictures were taken when Bob took us to the casino in Niagara Falls, Canada for dinner. I had the best lamb chops I have ever had and numerous drinks. It was a great evening.

Grandsons

This is Ian, Lorri's son.

This is Chad, my grandson. His mother, Cecelia, raised a very nice young man.

On the right of the other picture is Ian, Lorri's son. With him are Whitney, Alexis, and Alia.

Hello Kinfolk!

My name is Cheryl and I want your pictures.
I am starting this blog to post pictures of our extended families. I would appreciate any photos anyone would like to email me to post on the blog. It might be fun to check out all the different people in our family.
